The Classical Greek Theater Festival presents 'Electra' Sep. 21.

The Classical Greek Theater Festival of Westminster College will perform Sophocles’ tragic masterpiece, Electra as part of their 2015 tour in the de Jong Concert Hall on Sep. 21 at 5:00pm. Tickets are $11, with discounts available for alumni, seniors and students. Larry West directs this production of “Electra” featuring a recent American translation by Marianne McDonald. Melanie Nelson will play the title role, one of the longest roles in Greek tragedy. The production also features sets designed by Spencer Brown, costumes created by Erin West and music composed and performed by Abby Scott. An orientation lecture by the dramaturge will precede the show at 4:00pm.
