DIA COMMITTEE TOOLKIT

The CFAC Diversity, Inclusion, and Accessibility Committee has created a digital campaign to let our students know we see them, value them, and accept them—right now, as they are.

One of the DIA Committee’s goals is to “speak out… paying particular attention to marginalized people and attending to their safety and well-being, which has often been unacknowledged.” We want each of our students to know that they belong in our College, and that  they matter  to CFAC faculty, staff, and administrators.

Earlier this year, the Diversity, Inclusion and Accessibility Committee sent out a call to all College of Fine Arts and Communications faculty to submit videos of their messages to students, reminding all that they belong here and they matter here.

As you noticed in April, we posted the videos of those who answered that call. We tried to fill your timeline with messages reminding you that your stories are important, your voice is needed, our stage is your stage and that you belong and you matter here in the College of Fine Arts and Communications.

Here’s a video compiling all of those messages for you to keep and save for when your spirits need a lift. #YouBelongHereYouMatterHere
