The Brigham Young University Singers and Concert Choir will present concerts Friday and Saturday, Oct. 14-15, at 7:30 p.m. in the de Jong Concert Hall.

The BYU Singers, conducted by Ronald Staheli, will perform “Verbum supernum prodiens” by Damijan MoÄnik, “Inner Stillness” by Lane Johnson, “Jubilant Praise” by Mark Hayes, “FÁ¼nf GesÁ¤nge” op. 104 by Johannes Brahms, “Psalm 119” by Robert Beaser, “I Beseech You to Look” by Paul Sjolund, “Song of Creation” by Austin C. Lovelace and “An Instrument of Thy Peace” by Ralph Manuel.
The Concert Choir, conducted by Rosalind Hall, will perform “A Prayer of the Middle Ages” by Howard Hanson and the African-American spirituals “Didn’t My Lord Deliver Daniel” arranged by Bob Burroughs, “Is There Anybody Here?” arranged by Alice Parker and “Ain’t That Good News” arranged by Mark Hayes.
The choir will also perform fragments from the mass, including the Kyrie and Agnus Dei from Chichester Mass by William Albright, Gloria from Missa brevis by Richard Rodney Bennett and Sanctus from the Mass for Double Chorus by Frank Martin.
