#ExperienceCFAC: Share Your Story
"To know I would actually be there where so many famous dancers have trained was an experience and feeling I could have never prepared for.”
“I want to be one of those people who goes to places to find people who don’t have the means to get their message out to the world. Being the liaison between them and the rest of the world is what inspired me to pursue media arts.”
"Experiences like going to New York help you gain experiences and skills that prepare you for your career. It’s so exciting, and college is the perfect time to capitalize on those experiences. I’d encourage everyone to go, a million times over, it was so fun and I learned so much!”
"From a textbook, one can discuss theory and concept. From a gallery or a purposeful setting, one feels the presence of art and can discern the power – or lack thereof – personally.”
WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO “SHARE YOUR STORY”?
Share Your Story is a year-round campaign designed to exhibit the powerful learning that happens outside of the classroom. Students can take photos, videos, or write short essays that will then be shared by the CFAC in the college-run social media and news.
