BYU News Media Student Lands Front-Page Spot in the Deseret News
Recently-graduated news media alumna McKayla Robinson’s capstone project featured the 20-year-old case of Rosie Tapia. Robinson worked with her professors to pitch the story to the Deseret News, who decided to feature the story on the front page.
“I did not expect my story to be featured on the front page of the Deseret News. I went in to pick up a copy of the paper and expected to have to search for my story but was pleasantly surprised when I realized it was on the front page,” said Robinson. “It was a cool experience, knowing my hard work was recognized and valued as important by a big name such as the Deseret News.”READ MORE
