Brigham Young University's School of Music will feature the University Chorale in concert Wednesday, Dec. 8, at 7:30 p.m. in the de Jong Concert Hall.

Brigham Young University's Chamber Orchestra will be performing with some of China's top classical artists as well as with the Yangzte Melody, a traditional Chinese music ensemble, durig a concert Thursday, Dec. 9, at 7:30 p.m. in the de Jong Concert Hall.

'Kit Carson,' the action-adventure film starring Jon Hall, Dana Andrews and Lynn Bari, will be shown on Friday, Dec. 3, at 7 p.m. in the auditorium of the Harold B. Lee Library at Brigham Young University.

The top ensembles from Brigham Young University's Department of Dance will perform a special assembly titled 'The Gift of Dance,' Tuesday, Nov. 30, at 11:05 a.m. in the Marriott Center.

Brigham Young University's Education in Zion Gallery will host a reception celebrating its new 'After Eve' art exhibit honoring women Thursday, Nov. 18, at 7:30 p.m. at the gallery on the east end of the Joseph F. Smith Building.

Jazz Voices, Brigham Young University's premier vocal jazz ensemble, will be performing Wednesday, Dec. 1, at 7:30 p.m. in the Madsen Recital Hall.

Brigham Young University's Symphonic Band and Wind Symphony will join in concert Tuesday, Dec. 7, at 7:30 p.m. in the de Jong Concert Hall.

To celebrate the Christmas season, the Brigham Young University School of Music will be hosting a number of free musical concerts Dec. 2—9 at various locations around campus: The Jazz Lab Bands will be performing in the Madsen Recital Hall, Thursday, Dec. 2, at 7:30 p.m. They are directed by Daniel Henderson. The Songwriter Showcase will take place Friday, Dec. 3, at 7:30 p.m. in the Madsen Recital Hall. Student composers will be debuting new works in this popular event modeled after similar showcases in Nashville and Los Angeles. The sounds of a 'Tuba Christmas' will fill the air Saturday, Dec. 4, at noon in the Madsen Recital Hall. BYU's Harp Ensemble will perform Saturday, Dec. 4, at 7:30 p.m. in the Madsen Recital Hall. The ensemble is directed by ShruDeLi Ownbey. A string chamber night will be held Tuesday, Dec. 7, at 7:30 p.m. The recital will take place at the University Parkway Center located on the northeast corner of University Parkway and University Avenue. BYU's Honors Tuba Quartet will be performing Wednesday, Dec. 8, at 7 p.m. in the Karl G. Maeser Building Auditorium on the southeast corner of campus. A flute choir will perform at the University Parkway Center Wednesday, Dec. 8, at 7:30 p.m. A brass chamber night will take place Thursday, Dec. 9, at 7:30 p.m. at the University Parkway Center.
