BYU’s Symphonic Band and Wind Symphony Will Hold Their Final Performances in the de Jong Concert Hall on October 26 and 27

Step into the de Jong Concert Hall for back-to-back farewell performances from the Symphonic Band and Wind Symphony. The Symphonic Band will perform “Godspeed!” and the Wind Symphony will present the enlivening “I Could Have Danced All Night.”
Directed by Nate Seamons
This performance will be representative of conductors of the Symphonic Band for the last 36 years, with former conductors Don Peterson and Kirt Saville
The School of Music described this performance as a way to, “recall and recount memorable performances from the past and say goodbye.”
The following evening will celebrate culture and dance. Directed by Shawn Smith
The School of Music told viewers to “get ready to tap your toes and move in your seats. This music will make it hard to sit still!”
The de Jong concert hall will continue to be used for the rest of the year, but this will be the last performances of the Symphonic Band and Wind Symphony in the space. Don’t miss these two performances, each showing for just one night. Choose from the Symphonic Band or Wind Symphony or indulge yourself in musical masterpieces and attend both.
