Animation & Imagination: Teaching Children the Language of Art

BYU students from the departments of Art and Design teamed with the i.d.e.a Museum in Mesa, Arizona to build bonds between families through arts based experiences. Watch as students use motion graphics to help K-12 children put their drawings through the animation process and bring their imaginations to life.

Tachiinii Ranger graduated from the Department of Art in 2024. He wants to continue to paint after graduation because it is a way for him to express his inner struggles and triumphs. At BYU, he has learned that the Savior enhances our lives like fingerprints on clay.

Fidalis Buehler

Fidalis Buehler serves as the BYU Drawing Coordinator in the Foundations Program and heads the figure drawing and painting disciplines within the Department of Art. His work is exhibited in art centers and universities nationally and internationally.
