Glasgow-Based Band Ímar Performs at BYU As Part of Their US-Canada Tour

Elevate your St. Patrick’s Day celebrations with a concert by Glasgow-based Irish band Ímar
The band is made up of musicians Adam Brown, Ryan Murphy, Tomás Callister, Adam Rhodes and Mohsen Amini. Each member of Ímar is a current or former member of United Kingdom bands such as Manran
“As soon as we all sat down to play together properly, it just worked,” said Adam Brown.
Ímar will stop at BYU as part of their “Crossing the Atlantic” tour through the United States and Canada. “I came across this band almost by accident and fell in love immediately. These five virtuosos play the traditional folk music of Ireland, Scotland and the Isle of Man in such a cohesive, breathtaking blend that you can’t help tapping your feet!” said BRAVO! Series producer and director Lyndsay Keith.
Come fall in love with the sounds of the United Kingdom with this unique concert featuring award-winning musicians from across the pond.
