The BYU Young Ambassadors
The BYU Young Ambassadors are known worldwide for their music and dance performances and have toured to 67 nations since their debut in 1970. After performing “Imagine” on campus, the Young Ambassadors will be taking the show on tour to Brazil. “These young people represent the best America has to offer and they are the true ambassadors of the United States,” said Steven J. Green, U.S. Ambassador to Singapore.

“Imagine” explores what it means to take risks, overcome struggles and feel confident in doing the right thing. The show will have both light-hearted, comedic elements and deeper, introspective themes. The production was a collaborative research project where the students worked together to choose the set list, arrangements and staging. Their work resulted in a performance that will not only showcase their talents but also deliver a message of personal growth and the importance of community.
One student said that through performing with the Young Ambassadors, they “gained so much knowledge not just about my performing but my spirituality and my role as a human and believer in God.”
