- Two TMA students participated in Wayfare Magazine's short play writing contest and placed in the top three:
- Alyssa Call received first place with her play titled, "Fireflies"
- Andrew-Elijah Schindler placed third with his play titled, "Oh, How Lovely"
- TMA student Nathan Holley's play "Archipelago" was selected as the winner of the Utah-based Harrington Centre for the Arts "Exploration of New Works" Competition.

- Makenna Buhler received a nomination for the American Society of Cinematographers Student Heritage Award in the Haskell Wexler Documentary Category for her work on "Life After"

- BYU AdLab won the award for School of the Year by One Club
- AdLab students Destinee Neville and Adam Sheets Won First Place in the Coca-Cola Refreshing Films Contest for their ad "Signs of Friendship"
- The AAF NSAC team of Jordan Lindsay, Hailee Kotter, Mia Shumway, and Eli Rothas, won the District 12 Competition and will be moving onto the Semifinals.
- Professor Jeff Sheets was named the 2024 Distinguished Advertising Educator of the Year by the American Advertising Federation
- Public Relations Students Madie Hodson, Patti Davis, Parker Smith, Vesa Tevaga and Christian Tripp won 3rd Place in the 2024 National Bateman Case Study Competition for their campaign for Culturs Magazine titled "Unity in Uniqueness"
- “Alzheimer’s Association - No One is Alone” Ad Won College Television Emmy Award
- “Dream Job” Groundhog’s Day commercial has won 10 regional and national awards
- Megan Zaugg placed 19th in the Hearst Journalism Awards Explanatory Writing Competition with her story, "Long COVID and Long Haulers"
- “Soccer Sisters” by Colton Potter received 2nd place in the Video Sports Story/Feature category at the BEA Festival of Media Arts
- “Carolyn Can. Finding Purpose on the Pitch” by Lauren Porter received an Award of Excellence from the BEA Festival of Media Arts in the Video Sports Story/Feature category
- “Leading Through Adversity” by Megan Pickney received an Award of Excellence from the BEA Festival of Media Arts in the Mirco-documentary category

- On March 22, BYU Men's Choir released their four-song EP "He Sent His Son" on all major streaming platforms
- On May 31, BYU Noteworthy released their EP "Night in Seoul" on all major streaming platforms. The EP features a cover of "The Feels" by the K-Pop band TWICE
