DancEnsemble to Bring “Contemporary” to the Stage

A performance of students, faculty and guest artists to produce a two-day contemporary event

DancEnsemble is a contemporary dance company that focuses primarily on producing student choreographic work. This production will feature eight student-choreographed works, as well as two guest artist numbers from Jesse Obremski, a company member of Gibney Dance Co. in New York City and the other by Ruger Memmott, a member of Utah based dance company Odyssey. Two faculty pieces will be performed by Keely Song Glen and Marin Legget Roper.

“The concert will be as varied in style and texture as the word contemporary,” said DancEnsemble artistic director Kate Monson.
