2012 Latino Cultural Event

This production celebrates the coming of Jesus Christ to the New World and tells the legends of the great white god who visited the various civilizations in the Americas and on the isles of the sea. Included in the program is a dramatization of the coming forth of the Book of Mormon. These stories are told through music, dance, and narration, including a 365-voice adult choir and a 130-voice children’s choir accompanied by musicians playing traditional instruments. The production will also feature actors and hundreds of dancers performing ancient and traditional Latin American, Polynesian, and Native American folk dances. There will be an art exhibit in the Conference Center lobby featuring unique artwork from the diverse cultures represented in the program.
