January’s production of “Fiddler on the Roof” in the de Jong Concert Hall was the last musical theatre performance there.

The closing scene, says director David E. Morgan (BA ’85), highlights the main character Tevye’s acceptance of change as he’s driven from his home: “Tevye is packing up, and he finally says, ‘Let’s go.’”

The line is a fitting end to the final musical theatre performance in the 57-year-old Franklin S. Harris Fine Arts Center. David Morgan says the building, set to be retired later this year, has been a second home to many music and arts students—“a place they feel like they belong.”
