The College of Fine Arts and Communications Convocation will take place in one livestreamed session, broadcast from the HFAC on Friday, April 23 at 12:00 p.m. Department breakout webinars will be held immediately following the main convocation session.

Toggle ItemHOW CAN I PARTICIPATE IN THE 2021 GRADUATION CEREMONIES?
University commencement exercises will be conducted on Thursday, April 22 at 10:00 a.m. via a virtual live broadcast on BYU TV, BYU Radio, Classical 89 KBYU-FM and byutv.org.

Toggle ItemHOW CAN I PARTICIPATE IN THE #CFACGRAD CELEBRATION?
Although we won’t be able to gather to celebrate in person, we will still recognize students’ accomplishments through a livestream ceremony and through the Share Your Story: #CFACGrad campaign. Graduates are encouraged to submit a photo, video or story that highlights their BYU education using the hashtag #CFACGrad. Our team will be looking for inspiring posts to highlight throughout the month of April and during graduation.
We will be celebrating our graduating seniors on our convocation webpage and through our college Instagram, Facebook and Twitter accounts.

Toggle ItemCAN I STILL RECEIVE A CAP AND GOWN?
Because graduation ceremonies are virtual, caps and gowns are optional. However, you can still order your cap and gown for photos and to celebrate with family and friends.
Graduates in the College of Fine Arts and Communications will receive a tassel along with their diploma and diploma cover.
To receive these things, please make sure that your mailing address in BYU’s directory is up to date.

Toggle ItemWHAT IS THE POLICY FOR TAKING PICTURES ON CAMPUS?
Currently, there are no restrictions for taking graduation pictures on campus. Refer to policy.byu.edu for the latest updates. If you do take photos, please celebrate by sharing your photos on social media using #CFACGrad or by submitting your photos and stories on our website Share Your Story: #CFACGrad.

Your diploma and diploma cover will be mailed to your mailing address on file. Please make sure that your mailing address in BYU’s directory is up to date.

The livestream will not be recorded. We encourage graduates and their families to participate with us live on Friday, April 23 at 12:00 p.m.
