Despite battling a debilitating connective tissue disease, BYU graduate student Jackie Bodily Biggs continues to pursue her dream of becoming a concert pianist. Her story is one of quiet resilience, deep faith and the healing power of music. Jackie Bodily Biggs

Jackie Bodily Biggs is a graduate student at Brigham Young University studying music with Dr. Holden. Biggs has won first place at the BYU concerto competition in November 2024, the American Protégé Competition in June 2024 and the University of Utah Liszt Festival and Competition in November 2023.

Scott Holden

Scott Holden is a professor at Brigham Young University and is a faculty member at Summer Performing Arts with Juilliard, where has taught since 2017. He has performed in more than forty states, as well as throughout Europe and in Asia. Holden earned degrees from the University of Michigan (BM), The Juilliard School (MM) and The Manhattan School of Music (DMA).

Jihea Hong-Park

Jihea Hong-Park is a Korean American pianist and associate professor of piano at Brigham Young University. Hong-Park has presented at numerous conferences, symposiums and institutions of higher education. She earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees at The Juilliard School and pursued postgraduate studies at Teachers College, Columbia University.
