Join The Boston Brass Quintet in their Big Brass Show “Christmas Bells Are Swingin’”
Swing into the holidays with the iconic quintet Boston Brass and their show “Christmas Bells Are Swingin.’” Joined by local brass musicians, this show will give audiences a different spin on some of their favorite Christmas classics.
The quintet features José Sibaja and Jeff Conner on trumpet, Chris Castellanos on horn, Domingo Pagliuca on trombone and William Russell on tuba. The core Boston Brass quintet will be joined by local brass and percussion players, including several BYU School of Music faculty members.
Featuring arrangements of Christmas favorites, this energetic program celebrates the joy of the season for all ages. A few songs to look forward to are “Greensleeves,” “Joy to the World” and “Sleigh Ride.”
“This concert will be so fun,” says Lyndsay Keith, BRAVO! Producer. “What's most exciting for me is the collaboration between the supremely talented Boston Brass and local musicians of the same caliber, including some BYU faculty. You may see someone you know on stage! This will be a fun-filled evening for all ages. Come get into or ramp up your Christmas spirit.”
