Join the Contemporary Dance Area For An Evening of Uplifting and Inspiring Dance Performances

BYU’s Department of Dance will host its annual Contemporary Dance in Concert on February 15–17 in the Richards Building (RB) Dance Performance Theatre. This performance celebrates the best of the contemporary dance area at BYU and will feature pieces choreographed and performed by dance majors, Contemporary Dance Theatre, dancEnsemble, Kinnect and alumni.

This year, the performance includes guest artists from Wasatch Contemporary Dance Company and Rhythm ‘N Soul Collective. Wasatch Contemporary Dance Company is directed by BYU alum Jessica Wilcox Heaton. Rhythm ‘N Soul Collective is a new student group that promotes belonging and speaks out against racism through cultural dance.

The wide variety of works created by students, faculty and guests will uplift and engage the audience. Come celebrate all the contemporary dance area has to offer and be inspired by this one-of-a-kind performance.
