Singing and performing have always appealed to Alison Taylor. "I chose to pursue acting because it was fun and decided that if a different path presented itself then I would change. Instead, I fell even more in love with performance and discovered pathways within theatre that I hadn’t really considered. It’s something I love, and one of the few things that I truly am confident in," said the acting major.
"Acting isn’t easy. It requires work and study just like anything else. Performers and artists work so hard to present something beautiful and often fleeting. Don’t be afraid to let them know how much their work means to you. My favorite pastime is telling my friends how amazing they are."
She was one of the students selected to go to KCACTF and represent @byutma last year. She also adds, "I speak fairly decent Japanese and would love to learn other languages and adore discussing anything fandom. My favorite place to have long discussions is in the Pardoe lobby.
