Teames was also a teaching assistant for a beginner acting class. When asked what accomplishment she's most proud of at BYU, she said, "Watching the students in the class that I was a TA for grow so much and completely rock their proficiencies!"

"Studying at BYU has completely changed my perspective of the arts! It has helped me recognize how theatre is an expression of charity. By exploring stories of people from all walks of life, you can have greater understanding and empathy for the people that you meet every day," said Teames.

Theatre holds an important place in her life because it accepts everybody and gives everyone a place to belong.
