"My art is important to me because it's a reflection of who I am, what my thoughts and feelings and passions are, and my world around me. Pursuing film came about because I love writing and creating, and film is such an all-encompassing art that really influences people every single day."

"Every person has resonated with a movie or music video or documentary of some sort at one point or another in their life; I want to be part of creating those experiences for people," said Kaden Prows. He is a Media Arts major and student filmmaker.

He holds his art in high importance, but there are some things he wants to clarify. "I want people to know that even though my art is a reflection of who I am, it isn't ALL who I am. What I create isn't the entirety of my life. Just because my art is happy doesn't necessarily mean I'm happy; just because my art is gloomy doesn't necessarily mean I'm sad," he said. #byuTMA
