BYU Singers alumni will be flying in from all over the country to sing in the concert. The last alumni reunion concert took place in 2015, and after two years of the COVID-19 pandemic, this reconnection of musical friends is one that Schmidt is looking forward to.
“There is something very special about the strong bond that comes from singing together,” said Schmidt. “It is sometimes a bit overwhelming to look into the faces of so many friends at these reunions—but it is truly a joy to reconnect and to make music together again.”
