CFAC Associate Dean Amy Petersen Jensen to Speak at Forum on July 27

The university forum will feature Professor Amy Petersen Jensen

Associate Dean and professor Amy Jensen will be speaking at the Forum on July 27 at 11:05 a.m. Jensen is a professor in the Theatre Media Arts department as well as the Associate Dean over faculty development and research for the College of Fine Arts and Communications. She is also the executive producer over the College BRAVO! Series. Jensen received both her bachelor’s (1989) and master’s (1998) degrees from BYU and began her employment with the institution in 2000. Following those degrees, her pursuit for further education led her to the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign where she earned her doctorate degree in theatre history (2003). She is a professor in the Theatre and Media Arts Department and teaches in the undergraduate Theatre and Media Education Program as well as the Media and Performance Masters Degree. Jensen will be speaking to students, faculty and staff on why bodies matter in a digital world. Her address will be broadcast as if live, but the video is a pre-recording.
