As the Harris Fine Arts Center’s 50th anniversary celebration draws near, the building itself is gearing up for the festivities with the installation of new window wraps on the north and south side.
The theme for the celebrations is, “From this place into all the world,” and Nick Mendoza, creative services manager for BYU Arts, tried to capture this theme. He provided the concept direction and Andrew Galloway put it all together.
“We started doing some research on stained glass. That’s the colorful work you can see in it,” Mendoza said. “When we’re dealing with the arts, we want to see a lot of color. The HFAC gallery banners tie in with the window wraps, and you’ll see that in future posters that will get put up.”
