Jazz Legacy Band and Jazz Combo put on Free Shows at BYU’s New Music Building
Feel the rhythm with BYU’s upcoming performances of Jazz Legacy Band and Jazz Combinations on April 13 and April 19.
Jazz Legacy Band will be taking their audience back to the 1920s with their selection of pieces. Works by jazz legends Louis Armstrong, Bix Beiderbecke, Jelly Roll Morton, Joe “King” Oliver, Sidney Bechet, and others will be featured at the performance.
Jazz Combinations will bring a wide variety of jazz tunes to the Concert Hall. The show will involve a mix of swing, bossa nova, pop, blues, and soul selections. Both instruments and vocals will be on display for audiences to enjoy.
