Theatre and Media Arts, Acting Graduate from April 2024
My experience at BYU has been more than I ever could have imagined for myself. When I first started this journey, I had a very set idea of what I wanted to do and accomplish but, through my education at BYU, my horizons expanded.
I am graduating from BYU with a BFA in acting and a minor in communications. I have loved diving deep into the craft of storytelling as well as learning the role art and creativity play in our communities. I’ve had many amazing opportunities in my time here that have allowed me to apply my education in professional settings and see my potential as an actress.
Through BYU I’ve found my way onto various film sets across Utah Valley, performed in local theatre festivals, traveled to New York and Los Angeles to interview other actors, provided my voice to the Student Emmy-winning animated short "The Witch’s Cat" and helped produce several seasons of a documentary series.
I am leaving BYU with so many questions, more questions than when I started, and I think that’s a good thing! I am excited to explore the greater world around me and I feel like my education has given me the tools I need to continue achieving my potential.
