BYU's male a cappella group Vocal Point returned to compete in the Top 10 of NBC's 'The Sing-Off' on Monday. After their classic rock 'n roll performance, the judges had only positive things to say, and they will be continuing onto the next round of the competition.
Vocal Point had the crowd dancing when they sang their version of 'Footloose.' Joining them was their teammate Ben Murphy, who had been home in Australia spending time with family after his father died from Leukemia.
'I know that all your brothers here are really happy that you are back,' said Sing-Off judge Sara Bareilles.
Although Ben was 'apprehensive' about his first time on stage, judge Ben Folds noted that his baritone guitar sounds added a lot to their performance.
Two members of BYU's female a cappella group, Noteworthy, also advanced to the next round. BYU grad Amy Whitcomb and current BYU student Laina Walker are members of the all-female group Delilah that is comprised of contestants from previous seasons of 'The Sing-Off.'

Sara Bareilles: 'I think Kenny Loggins would love that performance. You're exuding the essence of the song, and it's sort of this innocent, poppy rock 'n roll. And I think you guys did that really well.'
Shawn Stockman: 'With each song so far you have shown at least 20 different personalities, and you've made the crowd go crazy, you've made us go crazy, I'm sure you made the people on TV — I'm sure they are dancing in their pajamas and their Hello Kitty pajamas listening to you guys right now. I enjoyed it guys - great job.'
Ben Folds: 'The bass was perfectly in time. That's hard for a cappella groups to do. You see them try and fail, try and fail, and you tried and you won.'
