In this unique show, Stephen Clawson shows off his collections of things that he’s combined in fun ways with paint and canvas.
“I take things that tend to get thrown out and I throw them together on a canvas. Something that’s lost its value is suddenly grasped from its doom and repurposed into something that could one day bring joy to people,” Clawson said. “Most of my work with collage is random. It’s a swirl of unrelated elements in our world, put together and frozen in time. A suspension of things in paint.”
