Jaime Trinidad Cano grew up in Veracruz, Mexico. His goal with the piece is to take the viewers with him on his journey back to Veracruz. “I want people to step into a slice of my world and give them a different point of view.”
This piece was created with a 3D printer and painted with an airbrush. Cano expressed that in the process, he felt that he was really exposing himself for the first time.
The “Yo, Mi Persona y México” exhibit showcases vibrant colors as well as a homage to Mexican luchadores. The piece comes from an artist who is just trying to make sense of his past.
