Charting a Creative Path: A BYU Student’s Journey to the Entertainment Industry

Eden Bostrom, a recent grad from the BYU Department of Theatre & Media Arts, found an unexpected creative career in voice acting. Her mentor, Stephanie Breinholt, helped her learn from industry professionals in LA including BYU alum and Disney Creative Director Ben Hoppe. Through Bostrom’s student work at BYU in the College of Fine Arts and Communications Office of External Relations, she finds hope and connections between spirituality and her work.

Eden Bostrom

Eden Bostrom graduated with a degree in acting in 2024. She now works for Summer Creative Agency as an assistant producer and is involved with local film and theatre projects. She is planning to move to Los Angeles in the future to further her career.

Stephanie Brienholt

Stephanie Brienholt is the Artistic Director of BYU Theatre. She is nationally recognized for her work in stage, screen and voice-acting as well as being a voice and dialect coach, educator and director.
