In their upcoming performance, “Seasons,” BYU’s Living Legends invited audiences to connect with their ancestors through dance and music. “Dance has a beautiful way of connecting us to our ancestors and their stories,” said Living Legends director Moni Tiatia. “‘Seasons’ is a story about finding support from them.”

The performance will celebrate Latin American, Native American and Polynesian cultures through dancing, culturally inspired music and lavish costumes.

“Our hope for those who attend is that they leave with a stronger desire to learn more about their ancestors,” said Tiatia. “As we seek to learn about them and what they went through, we in turn find answers to some of the questions and challenges we face today.”
